Namaskar, I'm Anil Raj Rimal, a DevOps Engineer from Nepal. I build and operate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and the tooling that keeps production systems running.
About Me
I'm a Mid DevOps Engineer at NAXA, working on AWS-based production infrastructure with a focus on reliability, secure deployments, and observability. I design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins, manage containerised workloads with Docker, and provision infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt. I monitor systems with Prometheus and Grafana, including cross-account observability via AWS CloudWatch Observability Access Manager, and handle secret management through Phase and AWS-native tooling.
Outside of work I build CLI tools and GitHub Actions that solve problems I actually run into: container monitoring, artifact management, secret fetching, and quick file sharing. I hold a Bachelor's degree in CSIT and am always looking for problems worth automating away.

DockedUp
Real-time interactive CLI dashboard for monitoring Docker containers. Supports compose grouping, health checks, CPU/memory metrics, and hotkeys for logs, restarts, and shell access. Distributed on PyPI and organically adopted by the Docker/DevOps community.
AWS ECS Platform Infra
Production-grade AWS infrastructure for containerised web platforms using ECS Fargate, Aurora Serverless v2, Redis, CloudFront, and ALB. Fully managed with Terraform and Terragrunt.
ECR Docker SSH Deployer
GitHub Action that pulls Docker images from Amazon ECR and deploys them to remote servers over SSH using Docker Compose. Designed for environment-specific CI/CD pipelines.
Phase Secrets Fetch Action
GitHub Action that securely fetches secrets from Phase Console and writes them to a .env file for use in downstream workflow steps. Available on GitHub Marketplace.

Mid DevOps Engineer at NAXA
Shantinagar, Kathmandu
Own AWS production infrastructure end to end, improving deployment reliability and hardening security posture. Built Grafana alerting rules and cross-account observability using AWS CloudWatch Observability Access Manager (sink and link setup across multiple AWS accounts). Handle release coordination, incident response, and containerised workloads on Docker.
January 2026 - PresentJr. DevOps Engineer at NAXA
Baluwatar, Kathmandu
Reported to a senior DevOps engineer while owning CI/CD pipeline improvements end-to-end: cut average build-and-deploy time from 20-25 minutes to 5-10 minutes with Docker layer caching, Node.js dependency caching, and multi-stage Dockerfiles, and reduced pipeline failure impact by splitting error-prone stages into separate, manually-triggerable jobs for quick error recovery and restarts. Managed cloud infrastructure on AWS, introduced Prometheus and Grafana-based monitoring, and handled on-call escalations for production incidents.
